For more information on different volunteer roles:

Announcing - welcome guests, introduce officials and skaters, announce scores for Star 5+ events, scripts and support are provided, preferably aged 16+ 

Music -  play music for skaters (.mp3 files on computer), preferably aged 16+, time warm ups

Ice captains - Ensure skaters are at rink side and ready to step on ice for their flight, opens/closes on-ice gate for each skater, ensure only accredited personnel are at ice level, monitor ice conditions and notifies Tech Rep if problem arises, aware of location of medical personnel 

Runners - assisting ice captains in locating skaters, delivering planned programs to officials, etc.

Admissions - collecting admission fees and distributing wristbands

Registration - signing in skaters, collecting planned programs

Floater - miscellanous duties as needed
