Payment

Payment is accepted by debit card, cheque, cash, Visa and Mastercard in Canadian Funds. You may pay in person by coming to Skate LaSalle during limited office hours. Payments are accepted by Visa or Mastercard online and recurring payment plan options are provided at the checkout

NSF Fees

Declined recurring credit card payments or NSF cheques will be subject to a $35 fee and skating will be interrupted until all outstanding payments are brought up to date.

Helmets

A CSA approved hockey helmet is mandatory for all participants working on Preschool and CanSkate stages 1 – 5 inclusive.

Pro‐Rating

If you are joining the program late, a pro‐rated session fee is provided if space permits. .

 

Refunds


CanSkate

Refunds will be offered only prior to the fourth session scheduled for the skater. A request for a refund along with explanation must be made in writing to the Board of Directors and received before the start of the fourth session. The amount of the refund, if any, will be as follows:

Total Amount of Fees Paid LESS Skate Canada Fee ($58.70) LESS $25 administration fee LESS prorated amount of fees for sessions occurring prior to date of delivery of the written request for refund. .

STARSkate

No refunds will be given once skater has stepped on the ice on their first skate day of the season.

Medical Refund - within 30 days of injury or 4 weeks of missed ice time, a request must be submitted in writing to the Board of Directors detailing the refund request along with a doctor's note. Refund or Credit given is at the discretion of the Board. A $25 service fee will apply.

Make Up Sessions

We are unable to offer make‐up sessions. There will be no refunds due to lost time as a result of holidays, inclement weather, competitions, test days, play downs, tournaments or other events required for the operation of our club or of those with whom we share the Centre. Privacy Skate LaSalle is committed to protecting the privacy of any personal information you may provide. Any information given to us will be held with extreme care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to. Information collected will also be used to register skaters with our Sport Governing Body Skate Canada. The Skate LaSalle web site does not automatically gather any specific personal information from you, such as your name, phone number or email address. We only obtain this type of information if you supply it by sending us an e-mail or registering in the members only portion of the site. Skate LaSalle does not sell or distribute any personal information with any other organization, user group, or third party other than Skate Canada. Skate LaSalle is a member of Skate Canada and falls under the Skate Canada umbrella. Delivery of Goods and Services Transactions made to Skate LaSalle are for skating services rendered by the club. Delivery of these services is outlined on our website and subject to the session, dates, times and location you indicated on your application. We do not export any goods or services. Delivery of Programs All programs will take place at the location indicated in the program registration.
